Brian Cruickshank is an experienced motor vehicle aftermarket executive whose 28-year aftermarket career has been focused on strategy, marketing and communications. As a close observer of aftermarket trends, he is often asked to speak on aftermarket topics and trends at national and international industry events.

He is the former Editor-in-Chief of several prominent national aftermarket publications, including Underhood Service, Counterman and AftermarketNews, as well as the former Executive Director of the University of the Aftermarket at Northwood University. He served on the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) Board of Governors from 2008-2022 and was the recipient of numerous industry awards, including the AWDA Pursuit of Excellence, Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award, AIA Young Executive of the Year and the Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award. He currently serves on the California Automotive Wholesale Association (CAWA) Board of Directors.

Military service in the United States Marine Corps preceded undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University and an aftermarket-focused executive MBA from Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management.
